SKS JAPAN 2025 – Expands Its Exhibition Lineup, Offering Around 60 Delicious Food Experiences


UnlocX&Co. will co-host SKS JAPAN 2025 -Global Foodtech Summit- with The Spoon (Headquarters: Washington State, USA; CEO: Michael Wolf) over three days, from Thursday, October 23 to Saturday, October 25, at COREDO Muromachi Terrace. SKS JAPAN is one of Japan’s largest FoodTech conferences, bringing together change-makers and innovators from around the world to spark collaborative action.  


This year’s program is bigger than ever: approximately 40 sessions featuring more than 100 speakers from Japan and abroad, plus new Interactive Sessions designed to turn discussions into action—along with an expanded exhibition lineup. 

Attendees can enjoy 60+ experiences across three zones:

  • In-Venue Exhibits: 30+ booths showcasing cutting-edge products and technologies
  • Future Food Court: an area where you can taste a wide range of “future food” offerings
  • Shoku-no Mirai Yokocho (Future Food Alley): a city-style exhibition held for three days at the Roofed Outdoor Plaza next to the main venue

1. In-Venue Exhibits: Experience approx. 30 cutting-edge FoodTech innovations—see, touch, taste, and explore

Discover the latest FoodTech devices and solutions from Japan and around the world, along with a tasting corner where you can sample “Future Food.” Highlights include NTT DATA’s technology for digitizing and recreating scents; Toyo Seikan’s space-fermented beer; game-meat canned products developed over three years in collaboration with Tsuji Culinary Institute; and PLANTX’s new basil powder, powered by its world-first fully sealed cultivation system. From major corporations to startups, you’ll find exhibits from the players driving the next evolution of food.


2. Future Food Court: A refreshment area where you can fully enjoy the taste of future food

We will offer around 20 types of refreshments, including beverages—so you can experience delicious future food firsthand. From light bites such as complete-nutrition rice meals and Tabechoku’s first premium frozen-meal line, Vivid TABLE, to sweets like plant-based ice cream and drinks such as soba-koji sake, you can explore how good future food can be. The lineup changes twice a day, so don’t miss it!


3. Future Food Alley “Shoku-no Mirai Yokocho”: Held for three days at the Roofed Outdoor Plaza next to the venue

“Shoku-no Mirai Yokocho” returns this year, offering a hands-on experience of Japan’s inherent strengths in food—delicious, healthy, and sustainable. Enjoy freshly prepared meals from food trucks, and browse the table area where truly irresistible foods and sweets will be sold and sampled. From the “Forest Mushroom Burger,” featuring shiitake umami and the satisfying texture of extra-large kikurage mushrooms (wood ear), to tea soba wrapped in Kyoto fresh yuba, and a “Hot Chain” vending machine that serves a warm bento in just nine seconds—this is where cutting-edge technology meets Japanese tradition and culture. Experience the future of food today—what may feel completely normal five or ten years from now.
